Semi-finals teams of the first European University Championship in the beach handball (Men)

After the second day of the competition, we knew the participations of the first semifinal matches in Zagreb.

A fresh Jarun morning was opened by matches of the male part of the tournament, and the first match was played by the University of Belgrade and the University of Pecs, and the second victory in the group phase came to the Serbian team (2:0). The German team, University of Duisburg-Essen, lost both matches of the morning term (from the University of Barcelona and the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest). The University of Pecs, just like the University of Duisburg-Essen, was defeated in the second game of the morning. With 2:0 athletes from Catalonia celebrated.

In group B, the first match was played by the teams German Sport University Cologne and Özyeğin University. The victory went to the Germans (1:2), but in the second match, the German team lost by the new opponents, Hungarian Corvinus University of Budapest (1:2). The Croatian representatives end the group phase with maximum impact, after winning against the Tilburg University and Özyeğin University.

For a place in the medal fights, the teams of German Sport University Cologne and The University of Barcelona first fought, and the final 2:0 went to Spanish. The University of Belgrade has confirmed its position in the semifinals by defeating Tilburg University. The host team from Zagreb won against the German University of Duisburg-Essen (Final result 2:0) and confirms its place in the tournament below. The last quarterfinal match was played by Hungarian universities (Budapest University of Technology and Economics and Corvinus University of Budapest) and was celebrated by Budapest University of Technology and Economics with 2:1.

Universities from Spain, Serbia, Hungary, and Croatia will play in the semifinals of the first European Beach Handball Championship. The first semifinal match will be merged by The University of Barcelona and the University of Belgrade, and the second University of Zagreb and Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
