EUSA and EHF officially add Beach Handball to the EUSA sports programme

European University Sports Association (EUSA), represented by its President Mr Adam Roczek and Sport Manager Mr Besim Aliti, and European Handball Federation (EHF), represented by its President, Mr Michael Wiederer, Secretary General Mr Martin Hausleitner and EHF BC Chairman Mr Ole Jorstad, met in Zagreb during the final day of the European Handball Championships (Croatia 2018) on January 28, in order to add Beach Handball to the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the organisations, adding the sport to the official EUSA sport program in 2019.

EUSA President Mr Roczek highlighted that EUSA and EHF have been successfully collaborating from 2013, when the Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Vienna and now  EUSA is happy to announce that this collaboration will become even closer with including Beach Handball in EUSA sport program. In addition, he congratulated EHF for organizing an amazing tournament in Croatia and for achieving a great success.



EHF President Mr Wiederer thanked EUSA for including Beach Handball into EUSA Sport Program and emphasized that he is extremely happy with the level of collaboration that the two federations have maintained for the last five years and expressed his wishes for this collaboration to continue with even more success, now that Beach Handball is included.


EUSA is extremely proud and happy that the successful collaboration with EHF will continue and intensify with the inclusion of Beach Handball, which stands for an extremely fast and attractive sport played mostly by student population.
